Project Description Country: USA Location: Boise, Idaho Total Budget: $1,934 Areas of Focus: Water, sanitation and hygiene, Maternal and child health, Community economic development, The environment Activity Type: Health: General Summary: Boise East Rotary will be partnering with Idaho Diaper Bank, Boise Idaho, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which provides diapers to families in need. Boise East Rotary will be partnering with Idaho Diaper Bank, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Boise, Idaho, which provides diapers to families in need. The funding provided will directly support the ongoing diaper need in our community. Our volunteer work will consist of participating in a hands-on experience at the diaper bank warehouse which could include bundling diapers into packs of 25 for partner distribution and sorting and organizing inventory. If the grant is funded, $500 would be club funds and we are asking for $1,434 of DDF funds for a total of $1,934. According to the diaper bank director, this grant would provide approximately 5,600 diapers, which would help support about 112 babies for an entire month. The project will begin in Fall 2026 with the volunteer experience to be scheduled at a time that is convenient for both parties.
