Project Description Country: USA Location: Peoria Unifed Schools Total Budget: $3,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Declaration of Independence for 4th through 8th grade classrooms in Peoria Unified School District Peoria Unified School District teaches Civics to all students in the District. Additionally, according to the Arizona Administrative Code, all students in grades 4 through 6 are required to recite a section of the Declaration of Independence at the commencement of the first class of the day. The District has requested that our club provide every teacher grade 4 through 8 with a copy of the Declaration of Independence Posters so they teach the students about the Declaration of Independence. Club members will present the Posters to the classrooms at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year.
