Project Description Country: USA Location: Placentia Total Budget: $4,600 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Provide small grants to teachers to help fund special projects or needs for their classroom Funds are often limited for teachers in our public schools; the teachers are often called upon to utiize their own funds or to be creative in providing new concepts, ideas, or approaches to the students in their classrooms. Teacher mini-grants will made available for classroom materials or programs that would be otherwise unfunded. Club members will review the applications, and determine the successful applicant(s) early in the spring semester.
