This project supports South County Outreach's elementary school-based food pantry designed to address food insecurity among students and their families. The monthly mobile pantry provides consistent access to nutritious, supplemental food for households experiencing financial hardship, helping to ensure that children come to school ready to learn, grow, and thrive.
1-2 schools will recieve services
The primary beneficiaries are elementary school students and their families who are facing food insecurity, many of whom live in low- to moderate-income households or are impacted by rising housing and living costs. By serving the whole family, the project stabilizes the home environment, reduces stress, and supports better academic, social, and health outcomes for students.
