Each project promotes youth leadership, service, and educational achievement.
- RYLA: A hands-on leadership camp for high school juniors, benefiting up to 7 student delegates directly and reaching 200-300 students through school outreach. Our Club members interview dozens of high school junior students who apply for the RYLA scholarship and select the top candidates for the available scholarships. The Club will use the grant funds allocated to RYLA to pay the District for the RYLA Scholarships.
- Noodles For Nonprofits: A community group fundraising project put on by our Club that provides $1,000 to over a dozen small nonprofits and youth-based clubs and organizations. Club members reserve the location, created the promotional materials, get the tickets printed and distributed to the groups and then prepare the 4 course dinner for the attendees. The grant funds allocated to our Noodles for Nonprofits event will be used to cover the costs of the food and marketing materials for the event.
- Night Among the Stars: A gala recognizing 25-30 outstanding student volunteers, attended by ~150 students, family and community members. The funds allocated to A Night Among the Stars are used to offset costs to put on the event.
