Activity Type:
Community Development: Construction/Renovation
Summary: Two Community Housing rental homes will be fenced to protect children from a busy street.
Affordable housing in the Wood River Valley is a persistent challenge and problem. The ARCH Community Housing Trust builds and renovates homes for low-income families. This project will help ARCH stretch its grant and donation funding by building a fence at two of its homes to protect the yards from a busy street. The Ketchum / Sun Valley Rotary club will purchase the materials for more than 100' of fencing. The club will have the posts professionally installed. Then the club will schedule a service project day to complete the project, installing the rails and pickets. A club member who is a contractor will supply tools and another club member will complete the survey needed to locate the fence appropriately. This project will be scheduled as soon as possible after the grant is awarded. At this time, we anticipate the professional post installation will occur three weeks after the club notifies the low bidder to proceed. The club will complete the project within two weeks of the posts being placed.

Your grant was listed for the 2025-2026 year instead of 2026-2027. I've canceled the signatures and am looking into getting it corrected.
