Location: Kathmandu

Total Budget: $3,000

Area of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention

Activity Type: Peace: Volunteer Services

Summary: She is Safe - Supporting human trafficking awareness

Our Rotary Club is proud to partner with She Is Safe through a grant that falls under the category of peacebuilding and conflict prevention. Human trafficking is not only a devastating human rights violation, but a destabilizing force that undermines the safety and cohesion of entire communities. Our funds will support education and empowerment programs that equip women and girls with the knowledge and skills to recognize and resist trafficking - because protecting the most vulnerable is a cornerstone of building lasting peace.
