Summary: UMUOPARA UMUAHIA COMMUNITY MOTORISED SOLAR POWERED BOREHOLE PROJECT


The Ehume Umuopara Umuahia community currently lacks access to clean and safe drinking water. Residents rely on unsafe water sources such as streams and shallow wells, which expose them to waterborne diseases including typhoid and cholera.

The main objective of this project is to:

• Provide sustainable access to clean and potable water

• Reduce waterborne diseases

• Improve hygiene and sanitation

• Improve quality of life for over 3,000 community members

The primary beneficiaries will be women, children, elderly persons, and households in the Ehume Umuopara community.
