Project Description Country: Tanzania Location: Africa Total Budget: $3,000 Area of Focus: Water, sanitation and hygiene Activity Type: Water: Sanitation Summary: (60) water filters for (60) Massai Tribe families, bring clean water to over (300) Massai Tribe members Many of the Massai Tribes living in Tanzania do not have access to clean, safe drinking water. They are often getting their water from the same ponds (mud holes) that their goats and cattle drink from. $3000.00 will be sent to WineToWater.org for the purchase of (60) water filters, that will be distributed by WineToWater.org to (60) Massai Tribe families in Tanzania. We hope to enlist the aid of the other (2) Sedona Rotary Clubs, to see if they want to piggy-back onto this application.
