Project Description Country: Mexico Location: Rural Ensenada Total Budget: $6,500 Area of Focus: Maternal and child health Activity Type: Health: General Summary: ENSENADA DENTAL AND VISION CLINIC SERVING UNDERSERVED YOUTH IN RURAL MEXICO THESE ARE INDERSERVED YOUTH IDENTIFIED BY THE CALIFIA ROTARY CLUB AND THE LOCAL SCHOOLS IN ENSENADA, MEXICO. WE PROVIDE DENTAL CARE AND VISION EXAMS WITH GLASSES IFNEEDED. THE CLINICS ARE ON OCTOBER 2025 AND MARCH 2027. WE PAID DENTAL CARE FOR CHILDREN FOR SUPPLIES AND SERVICES $5,000 FOR 2 CLINICS . WE PAY MANTECA OPTOMETRIC $1000 FOR 2 CLINICS. WE SEE 65+ STUDENT A DAY FOR THE DENTAL CLINIC AND 140+ EYE EXAMS MOSTLY CHILDREN BUT SEVERAL ADULDS WHICH THE KIDS BRING BACK AFTER THEIR EXAM. CLUB MEMBERS HELP BEFORE HAND INVENTORYING AND REPACKING SUPPLIES . THEN IN MEXICO UNPACKING THE VAN , SETTING UP STATIONS , PERFORMOMG SERVICES, MANAGING THE STAFF AND PARTICIPANTS, ETC.
