Project Description Country: USA Location: Fountain Hills, AZ Total Budget: $6,500 Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Water, sanitation and hygiene, Maternal and child health Activity Type: Health: General Summary: Fountain Hills Club member champion identifies, purchases and delivers needed non-perishable food items to Extended Hands Food Bank (EHFB) each month. EHFB, a partner agency of St. Mary's Food bank, serves over 2000 food insecure residents monthly who live within 10 local zip codes in northeast Maricopa County, AZ. Club members participate in events that raise the needed funds and assist with procurement and delivery of food items. Note that the Club may request more than one District Grant and will identify and add a priority number to each grant before the grant due date.
