Project Description Country: USA Location: Anchorage Total Budget: $1,000 Area of Focus: Maternal and child health Activity Type: Health: General Summary: Anchorage Anchorage International Rotary regularly provides meals and supplies to Clare House, an emergency shelter for women with children and expectant mothers. Clare House provides services that address the needs of clients entering the program. This includes safe, warm shelter, meals, and other necessities for both moms and their children. While families are staying at the shelter, Clare House offers 24-hour support and case management services to help guide families to permanent stability. AIRC is asking for $500.00 from District 5010 to continue providing regularly planned meals and emergency requests that we get from Clare House for supplies. In addition to funding, Rotary members are involved in the serving of meals.
