Summary: 'You Shine-The Impact You Make Matters' is a collaborative effort designed to uplift, encourage, and acknowledge two groups within Anchorage community: North Star Elementary and Love Alaska/Priceless with cards ,treats and incentives throughout the year
Through consistent, positive engagement, Rotary members will provide encouragement, recognition, and small tokens of appreciation that reinforce resilience, progress, and hope. This project embodies Rotary's commitment to mental health, education, and promoting peace.
We will provide different encouraging incentives, like books, treats, cards, and other ways we can assist and help with mental health, hunger and or what the needs of the client/students are. We will work directly with North Star staff and students for their needs. We will work through Love Alaska/Priceless staff to acknowledge client progress as they rebuild their lives after the trauma of human trafficking and assist with whatever needs to can provide.
