Summary: Rotary Supplies 40-50 Backpacks for Underprivleged 5th Graders at the Oakwood Elementary in Preston Idaho
The Oakwood Elementary in Preston, Idaho currently publishes a list of school supplies that are needed by each student by grade. The Rotary Club of Preston as determined that there is a need to help underprivileged children meet the supply requirements. We have determined to help 5th graders in this project. Club members purchase all the supplies needed plus backpacks to carry the supplies in the summer months. At a meeting in August, we assemble the supplies into each backpack and then deliver them to the school and the school determines which students receive the backpacks.
