Justin Cares - operating the Justin Community Food Pantry- is a client-select food pantry in Justin, TX. Offerings include Meat, produce, cereal, general groceries, baked goods, bread, milk, eggs and various miscellaneous items. Our service area is Justin and any bordering zip codes. The pantry serves over 7,000 people a year, seeing a consistent increase year over year in needs. Champions Rotary and their members have consistently partnered with the Food Pantry over the years including food drives, volunteering at pantry, and more. Funds requested for this grant will go towards purchasing pies and rolls that will be served with Thanksgiving meal distribution for 80 families and helping to assemble Thanksgiving meal bags. Rolls and pies are not usually donated and a treat for many of the families they serve. Timeline for completion is Thanksgiving Day.
