Project Description Country: USA Location: Corinth Total Budget: $12,000 Area of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention Activity Type: Food/Agriculture: General Summary: Package 20,000 meals for distribution to people in need Denton-Lake Cities Rotary Club will work with the Rise Against Hunger organization to package 20,000 dehydrated meals. The meals consist of dehydrated vegetables, rice and vitamins. Packaged meals are stored and distributed around the world to areas of need, such as drought stricken areas or as disaster relief. Meal packaging is performed by all club members, including families and our affiliated Interact and Rotaract clubs.
