Summary: Wheelchairs and First Responder Emergency Vehicles to Parras, Mexico
There is a continued need for wheelchairs to provide mobility for the indigent people of Parras de la Fuente. We will supply them with 100 quality wheelchairs and spare parts.
Many of the city streets are narrow and difficult to navigate through traffic with full sized emergency vehicles. In addition, much of the countryside and mountainous areas around the city do not have paved roads and are difficult to navigate, especially in bad weather.
The Parras Rotary Club has therefore expressed a need for an ATV equipped with firefighting equipment so their Fire Department can reach fire scenes quickly to save lives and minimize damage.
In a similar vein, they need a motorcycle equipped with emergency gear so their Parras Emergency Response personnel can reach accidents and other emergencies quickly to save lives.
