Project Description Country: USA Location: Kennedale Total Budget: $3,202 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: The Kennedale Rotary Club is providing dictionaries to every third grader in the Kennedale ISD. The third grade students in Kennedale, Texas are benefiting. Needs: supporting literacy for our youth by giving them their own dictionary Meet the needs: personal electronic devices are banned this year in the Kennedale ISD and the dictionaries will help them with research and greater knowledge Timeline: completed by December 31, 2025 Club member involvement: We get together and place name stickers inside the dictionaries for personalization and ownership. We count, separate, and organize the dictionaries and label the boxes so we know how many boxes go to which school, and we deliver the dictionaries to each school and personally hand out the books to the students with the assistance of the school's staff.
