Summary: Partner projects with clubs in Africa
|
Our club loves partnering with other Rotary clubs in other countries. Right now, we are deciding between a project in Kenya that our new president learned about at convention, and a dam building project in India.
We also participate yearly with a project along with African Enterprises. This year the organization would like us to support a project planting 200 trees to combat soil erosion, enhance water retention, and provide shade and resources to ensure the viability of the boreholes they are installing to provide clean water to 1,230 people in two villages. They will also provide community education on environmental awareness and tree maintenance.
