Project Description Country: USA Location: Hurst Euless Bedford Total Budget: $3,000 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: Volunteer Services Summary: Transportation support for needy families in 13 zip code area in and around Hurst, Euless and Bedford, TX The Transportaton Support Project will support the work of the North East Emergency Distribution (NEED) in helping families in crisis situations in the area. NEED will pay for and give Transportation Vouchers to area transportation to Work, Interviews, Medical appointments and other critical family situations. Funds will also be used for transporting food and materials from donors to NEED for distribution to families. Costs will include fuel, vehicle maintenance and insurance.
