Project Description Country: Ukraine Location: Kyiv Total Budget: $5,000 Areas of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention, Disease prevention and treatment, Maternal and child health Activity Type: Health: General Summary: Renovation supplies for a Meditation Room in an orphanage in Kyiv, Ukraine The projects supports a mental health therapy program called the "School of Joy" in Kyiv, Ukraine which helps orphaned children better manage their emotions from continual air raid sirens and trips to bomb shelters (as well as other mental health issues for the children in this war-torn country.). Funds will be used to renovate a meditation room and provide supplies for the space and children. History Log Entries 1-Jul-25 by Randy Looper Ellen, The District had $18,000 more grant requests than available DDF for the 25 - 26 grant year. In order to meet the available DDF it was determined that we need to reduce the 3 tier levels to the next lower tier or $1,000. I have cancelled your signature process and reduced your DDF request by $500. You will need to either reduce the total budget for your grant or increase your club giving by $500 so it balances.
