Project Description:
The Youth Entrepreneur project aims to address the need for greater economic opportunities and business education among young people in Baker County. Many youths in our community have innovative ideas but lack the resources, mentorship, and financial support needed to turn their visions into viable businesses. This initiative seeks to bridge that gap by providing funding, guidance, and networking opportunities.
How the Project Meets These Needs:
Through this grant, we will provide startup or matching funds for young entrepreneurs to launch or grow their business ventures. Additionally, Rotary members, Launch Pad Baker, and OSU Extension will mentor participants, offering business insights, financial literacy training, and access to networking opportunities. This guidance will empower young entrepreneurs to develop sustainable businesses, contributing to local economic growth.
