Project Description Country: USA Location: North Carolina E Tennesse Total Budget: $3,750 Area of Focus: Water, sanitation and hygiene Activity Type: Community Development: Construction/Renovation Summary: Provide financial assistance to Rotary Clubs in North Carolina and E Tennessee for Hurricane Helene Relief The Rotary Clubs of Asheville NC and Etowah Rotary Club in East Tennessee have requested financial support to help in the recovery efforts of their communities that were ravaged by floods and wind from Hurricane Helene in October 2024. This grant request is to provide financial support to these two clubs. The local clubs in Asheville and Etowah will be responsible for distribution and tracking of the use of funds so the D5495 District Grants can be properly closed with receipts from their efforts. Four or five clubs in District 5495 will participate in this effort including Gilbert, Mesa West, Tempe South, Scottsdale Sunrise and Scottsdale.
