Project Description

Country: USA

Location: Arlington

Total Budget: $11,024

Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy

Activity Type: Education: Literacy

Summary: Arlington

Rotary Club of Arlington has had a relationship with Webb Elementary School for many years. Webb was one of the first Title I schools in AISD. Every meeting a book is donated to Webb Library in honor of the speaker at our clubs meeting.

Funds will help support the eBooks purchase for the students. Students can check out books 24/7/365 - holidays, weekends, anytime. The books can be made available to parents of students, and some parents are actually using these books to learn English.

Once Funds are distributed we will work with AISD and Webb Elementary Librarian for the purchase of the eBooks.
