Project Description Country: USA Location: Bedford, NY Total Budget: $5,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Books and School Supplies For Hospital & Clinic and Elementary School In Bedford, NY Area New children's books will be distributed to both Northern Westchester Hospital Center and Open Door Clinic. The books will have our club logo and/or the 4-way test label attached to each book. These will be used to supply their young patients with new children's books. In addition, school supplies for the 2024/25 school year will be donated to needy students at Bedford Hills Elementary School. The school produces a wish-list of supplies for our club to fulfill. Club members insert the book "plates" into each book and deliver the books and the school supplies.
