Project Description

Country: USA

Location: National City

Total Budget: $1,000

Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment

Activity Type: Health: Disease

Summary: Offering support to low income cancer and stroke survivors, through providing support as they work through the decease.

National City has a high rate of cancer decease caused by hazardous toxins created industrial businesses in the area. As a result, cancer of all types such as breast, prostate, lung and many more have been on the increase. In addition, our community has also seen an increase in heart attacks and strokes.

We are joining forces with a community non profits to provide support to the struggling families. by providing necessary financial support to buy groceries, pay utility bills, provide at home equipment for therapy and educate the community through awareness and prevention.

We plan to have a community fund raising event, Fashion show with Caner Survivors to demonstrate the inner beauty.

We plan to obtain support through sponsorships such as Relay for Life and other activities.
