Project Description Country: USA Location: National City Total Budget: $2,000 Area of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention Activity Type: Peace: General Summary: Support National City Police Department K9 Dogs with life saving Bullet Proof Vests. The city of National City does not provide bullet proof vests for their dog units which support the police officers. The program will allow us to purchase specialized dog vests for our K9 dogs and any veterinarian support needed. We plan to fund raise by a "Dog Beauty Contest" to raise funds. NCPD will have their K9 at the fundraiser to demonstrate some of the life saving techniques. Project planned for 1st quarter 2025.
