Summary: Warrior Bonfire Program provides opportunities that improve the lives of enemy combat-wounded veterans - Purple Heart recipients - on their lifelong journey of recovery and healing.
Supporting a multi-day retreat that incorporates recreational and group therapies this October . This event encompasses activities designed to foster comradery, physical achievements, and an overall healthy mindset. The group is composed of six Purple Hearts, either active duty or non-active duty men and women service members. Activities include fishing, surfing, boating, etc. The event concludes with the Bonfire American Flag Retirement Ceremony in honor of their fallen brothers and sisters. Funds will be used to help pay the cost of transportation, room, board and activities. Rotary members will provide logistical support for the visiting Purple Heart participants.
