Project Description Country: Baja California Location: Tijuana/Primo Tapia Total Budget: $5,500 Areas of Focus: Basic education and literacy, The environment Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Laguna Beach Rotary EClub Noroeste Global Tijuana Club #89658 has identify the Boys and Girls Club of Tijuana to develop the RYLA activities. The USA RYLA activities will be done at the BGC club Tijuana location. MBSR members, Rotaract kids, RYLA personnel & counselors will direct the programs and activities to the attendees. B&GC will help with volunteers and staff for the event.. The project funds will be used to develop RYLA interactive activities, distribution of some educational materials for the students, food for students, teachers and attendees and payment to RYLA Director Bridget. Also, for the kids transportation to the B&GC location. The ECO Garden phase #2 school area preparation for fruit trees and reading area by the cafeteria area location. The cafeteria area refurbishing will need building materials for internal infrastructure repairs such as bricks, wood, dirt, water irrigation, chairs & tables.
