We will be a part of a nationwide packaging event with over 331,000 volunteers packaging over 57.4 million meals. These meals serve more than 3.6 million people in over 37 countries, most of which are not likely to be Rotarians.
Our participation in the event will fall between January and March of 2025.
Club Members, Family, lnteractors, Advisors, and other non-Rotarian volunteers (30+) will hand pack 4 different freeze-dried foods into packets that have to be weighed for accuracy, then sealed, labeled and crated into boxes ready for oversees shipping. Each volunteer can package between 125-150 meals an hour. Our goal is to complete 10,000 meal packs. Volunteers will also help set up the room being used and help breakdown / clean up after.
