Summary: Transportation for students to the annual Children's Outreach Concert of the Whittier Regional Symphony
This will be the eleventh year our club has supported this special symphony concert which introduces chi1dren to c1assica1 music and symphony instruments as a supplement to their school-based education. The 4th and 5th graders are transported from their elementary schools in five school districts to the auditorium of Whittier High School. Approximately 2,000 students will attend. Our total contribution of $3,100 will pay for a major part of the bus costs. The Whittier Regional Symphony manages the effort and underwrites the costs of the concert. Our members will be present on concert day to assist with the unboarding and reboarding of buses. This year's concert was held in May and we anticipate a similar date in 2025.
We have also developed a relationship of support to the Symphony by managing handicapped parking and assistance to those arriving from area senior residences during the regular free concerts of the Symphony during the year.

This project is "Approved". This means that the district leadership has reviewed and approved the allocation of district funds for this project. Once the funds from the district have been issued, the status of the project will be changed to "Paid".
