Project Description Country: USA Location: Casper, WY Total Budget: $7,000 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: Construction/Renovation Summary: Building dugouts for two fields for the Casper Softball Association Casper Five Trails Rotary is partnering with the Casper Softball Association to construct four new dugouts for their newly acquired softball fields. Timeline is pending permits being acquired by the softball club. All materials and labor will be supplied by Five Trails Rotary. The funds from this grant will be used for the materials totaling $7000 for all four dugouts. Casper Five Trails Rotary will purchase all materials, and club members will participate in building the dugouts for the Casper Softball Association. Five Trails Rotary plaques will also be installed at each dugout. A total of 13 members from Five Trails Rotary participated. Due to design plan changes, all dugouts were not built and will require a second build date which is scheduled for 12/14/2024. Randy 24-Jan-25 by Jonathan Boudreaux On 12/14/24 we performed our second build day. We were able to assemble the remaining structure and all rafters. We were unable to install the roof due to the wind making hanging plywood and sheet metal a dangerous task. We will have one more day to complete all four dugouts. I have attached the photos from the second day.
