Project Description Country: USA Location: Oceanside Total Budget: $5,000 Areas of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention, Basic education and literacy, Community economic development Activity Type: Education: Scholarship Summary: Oceanside The Club will support local Youth in Scholarships, honors and a banquet for NHS members at El Camino High School, promoting Leadership Education in Interact, LEAD and RYLA. We will provide support as mentors at Interact, supporting the local club and scholarship students to Rotary Interact training. We will have club members volunteer for RYLA & LEAD programs. . We will also provide financial support to other youth organizations with volunteer hours and financial assistance, such as YMCA, MiraCosta College, etc. We will provide Scholarships for Community Service. We accept applications and our members review for awarding the best candidates. We support the National Honor Society with Recognition and a banquet at year end in their honor hosted by our club.
