Project Description Country: USA Location: National City Total Budget: $1,000 Area of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention Activity Type: Peace: General Summary: Support NC police department K9 dogs with life saving bulletproof vest. The City of National City does not provide a bulletproof vest for their dog unit which support the police officers. This program will allow us to purchase a specialized bulletproof vest for our K9 dogs and any veterinarian support needed. We plan to have the police do a demonstration for our community, while asking for sponsorships and having a raffle.
