Project Description Country: USA Location: Chula Vista Total Budget: $1,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: General Summary: By promoting the science, math and physics studies to students in different levels and also providing the necessary materials to students from schools in need of financial support. This grant will be used to provide materials to several schools in financial need to continue with their projects and promote a family / school-oriented team work to accomplish their goals. The activity is a gathering between several local schools to show their math and physics abilities to develop a catapult to throw a pumpkin to a specific mark, the catapult is develop by students from different schools with the support of a teacher and there family; this brings the community together in promoting family values, school commitment and great fun and friendship between students and the community.
