Community Development: Disaster Recovery
Summary: Supporting the reinforcement and recovery of San Clemente historic landmark and community hub, Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens, which recently suffered a major landslide.
This project is designed to support the Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens, a San Clemente nonprofit organization and registered historic landmark that promotes arts, culture, and education to people of all ages. This project is especially valuable now as this historic icon has experienced damage from several landslides and is needing funds for costly repairs. The grant and our club's approximately 20 volunteer hours will help Casa Romantica continue to offer its wide-ranging programming and recover from landslide damage. Local residents and visitors, including and especially youth, will benefit from this project as it will further Casa Romantica's efforts to promote art, preserve history and educate, thus and enriching lives for residents and visitors for generations to come.

This project is "Approved". This means that the district leadership has reviewed and approved the allocation of district funds for this project. Once the funds from the district have been issued, the status of the project will be changed to "Paid".
