Project Description Country: USA Location: Naperville, IL Total Budget: $1,000 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Supporting local food bank with volunteer work and financial support. Club members will volunteer at Loaves and Fishes, a local food pantry and social services provider that now feeds 8,000 people each week. We will help with sorting donated food, so it is organized for the free onsite food market and to fulfill online ordering. We will also help fill boxes of food (dairy, produce, frozen meat, dry goods) for drive-through pick-up. Club members will provide funding for food to help restock the food pantry.
