Summary: Scholarships for TCC Culinary Arts Students
Virtually all of the yearly 400 students learning culinary arts skills at Tarrant County College qualify for financial aid, but many times this isn't enough for them to attend school full-time and to support themselves and in many cases, their families. These scholarships basically provide one full year of quality education and skills training and if the students successfully complete their first year, the TCC Foundation matches the scholarship for the second year, thus providing two full years of quality education to obtain an Associates Degree and/or stackable certificates.
Bottom line, these scholarship help provide the funding necessary to train and educate students of all ages and backgrounds to learn the skills necessary to achieve their dreams of getting a good job, starting a career and/or starting a business that will support them, their families and that of the employees they may hire, by doing something they love. We are changing lives.
