Summary: A House Built for a family with small children in desperate poverty in Ensenada, Mexico
A Poor working family in Mexico with small children was in desperate need to have a safe environment to call home. Our club along the organization Baja Bound which specifically dedicates themselves to build homes to help families like these and alongside another San Diego Club; Eastlake Rotary we were able to build a house with insulation from the ground up to provide this family a safe environment for themselves, and their 2 children under the age of 10. Our club donated money for generic costs to make this possible as well as with the intention of providing a water tank for the family. Most of the members & advisors in our club donated money on a monthly basis to help this cause as well as 8 of our members showed up physically to build this home with our own hands and labor.
