Needs identified: Teachers are always looking for new ways to teach American history. Give students first hand information about what their learning. And empower them to have conversations with peers and adults.
To be successful in hosting the Museum many organizations were needed. 2 school districts, police & fire departments, and 2 municipalities.
In preparation: This is our second year. When the event came to a close last year, all of these leaders asked us to, "Do it again".
So we are with enhancements: The school administrators have invited Eastchester Rotary members, Alan Benedict and Richard Forliano, to make presentations about the museum, at class assemblies.
Members will be distributing flyers for businesses to display. Also, sending to other organizations. Will have it on our website and ask the district to display it on theirs.
