Our Club, Rotary Club East-West, intends to collaborate with Bucket List, a not-for-profit organization which strives to assist families and communities in need. Our communities continue to struggle with various challenges in the areas of health, employment, and food to name a few. With the onset of winter, these challenges will be more acute. In the spirit of giving and sharing with our neighbors, our Club in collaboration with Bucket List will be again organizing a food drive in the winter of 2022-23. East-West Rotarians and their families will be involved in the distribution to beneficiaries.
Our Club will work together with our partner organization and purchase and help distribute non-perishable and perishable food items such as rice, oil, lentils, canned food, pasta, bread, and many more to families who are struggling to provide adequate meals to their loved ones.
We expect to provide these supplies to approximately 300 needy senior citizens and families in Bronx.
