Project Description Country: USA Location: Burleson Area Total Budget: $5,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Scholarship Summary: Provide for a $5k scholarship for a local high school student. The club has long provided a scholarship to a local high school student. The club's scholarship committee interviews between 5 and 10 students from area high schools to select the most deserving student. We take into consideration financial need, academic performance, community involvement and student's future plans. We also require the student to write an essay on the meaning of the Rotary 4-Way Test. The funds will be given out in April 2022.
