Replace the mattresses in the Eagle's Nest Facility and have found a local business in Guatemala that can provide them at $50 each. They need to replace about 150 mattresses, for a total of $7500.The project would not only be a blessing to Eagle's Nest, but also to the vendor supplying the mattresses. Eagle's Nest also sells the used mattresses to the local community for a very low price. Many of those people are sleeping on a dirt floor, so they are blessed, too.
The process should take less than 9 months from ordering to manufacturing and distribution.
The Burleson Area Midday Club along with Matching Grant Funds will contribute $3,850. towards this project.
