(for community projects in the City Heights area) Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) program: $1600. (5 students from Madison HS) LEAD (Leadership, Ethics, Aspiration, and Determination) Program: $1000. (4 8th graders) Model United Nations: $700. For this grant, We originally had $5300 for Youth Services; we added $200 from P-4015 which was not used in that grant, so we have a total of $5500. for these projects: 1. City Heights Rotaract $2000. Remains the same as the grant. 2.RYLA Program was cancelled ($1600.)--we repurposed $1000. to a Vocational Training program in Bali. ($600. carryover) 3. LEAD program cancelled ($1000.). We repurposed the funds to the Tepehua Community Center to put in water purification units for the indigenous community there. 4. Model UN ($700)--we were never asked to send the funds; so we still have it in our budget.
