Summary: Community Corner Cafe (C3) provides meals, free of charge each Friday night from October 1 – April 30 to anyone in the Estes Park Community.


Community Corner Cafe (C3) is a program in Estes Park Colorado that is staffed solely with volunteers to provide free meals to the community every Friday night from October until April. The program has been in existence for 11 years. Season 11 was completed on April 30, 2021 with 5032 meals being served. The program is staffed completely by volunteers and supported through donations and grants. Funds provided through this grant will be used for operations which includes food and supplies.

Volunteers include the weekly kitchen operations team who are responsible for cooking, cleaning and running the kitchen for the week, the liaison who oversees the operations for the evening and the meal distribution team who either distribute meals on a to go basis which was required during COVID or staffing the dining room in the years prior to COVID where a in person dining venue is provided.

In addition to the work done each Friday, the C3 Operations Committee volunteers travel to the Larimer County Food Bank weekly for groceries, plan menus, order supplies (i.e. to go containers), maintain inventory and monitor the storage and organization of food, and maintain the kitchen. The program has been in existence for 11 years. Season 11 was completed on April 30, 2021 with 5032 meals being served. The program is staffed completely by volunteers and supported through donations and grants.

Funds provided through this grant will be used for operations which includes food and supplies.

Members of Estes Park Longs Peak Rotary volunteer at C3 throughout the season in many capacities.
