Project Description Country: USA Location: Fullerton Total Budget: $6,500 Areas of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention, Maternal and child health, Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Additional Horse needed for Autistic Children Therapy Tara's Chance does horse therapy for autistic children with much success. They are dedicated to promoting the physical, cognitive, and social well-being of those with special needs through equine assisted activities and therapies. Some children have spoken their first words in delight after interacting with their horses. It provides an outdoor activity for families to participate and to bond. Currently there is long waiting list for therapy. An additional horse would increase the impact of this amazing charity. A new horse would be appreciated by July 2020. Club members would assist in delivery and maintenance. Thanks for your consideration.
