Summary: Supporting a San Diego based organization in improving community educational programs.


This project will provide funds to Compassion for African Villages (CAV) for their community educational programs.

CAV is a San Diego based Non-Profit Organization that supports educational projects in Liberia (Student desks, books and school supplies), Zambia (The Sandstone schools), Zimbabwe (Chumondoro school, teacher training, Income generating chicken project for school) and Kenya (Adult and youth computer training). These programs are a life-line in communities that are highly impacted by COVID -19. The grant funds will open education opportunity doors for youth and adult in Zimbabwe and Kenya where support systems have been decimated by COVID-19. The grant funds will benefit 150 youth and adults in computer skill training.
