Project Description Country: USA Location: Valley Center Total Budget: $2,000 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment Activity Type: Health: General Summary: Make hygiene kits for needy and homeless being served by Interfaith Community Service, Escondido Interfaith Community Services (ICS), (550 W. Washington Ave. Escondido) is helping more needy people than ever because of the COVID-19 pandemic. They are in need of many items, but we would like to provide Hygiene packages that are easy to create and fit into one gallon zipper bag. Since our members are social distancing this is something each member can create in their home and then deliver to a designated location or ask for pick up. One member will deliver to ICS, all in one trip. The plan is for the club to purchase the items needed to package together. Estimated cost per bag is $12.00.
