This project has been funded and the funds were distributed to the the Wellness & Prevention Center. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a significant increase in demand for mental health services for youths, and this grant helps the WPC meet the ever-growing demand for counseling services. The WPC also puts on regular programming for students to help them navigate the pandemic and understand mental wellness in themselves. San Clemente Rotary Club member, Tyler Boden, has also been attending meetings of the Wellness & Prevention Coalition, which meets monthly to discuss issues related to youth mental wellness, and drug use and abuse prevention.
