Summary: Personal Protective Equipment to assist nursing homes against COVID-19 in Naperville, IL, USA
The most venerable demographic to COVID-19 is senior residents in nursing homes. Due to budget restrictions, a number of nursing home workers are in need of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE). Naperville Rotary Sunrise will be purchasing face masks and gloves for both nursing home staff and residents in an effort to shield the residents from COVID-19. Club members will be purchasing and distributing the PPE to local nursing homes. The District 6450 grant of $1,851 will be matched by Club funds as a part of this effort. Completion of the distribution of PPE will be by July 15, 2020 (or sooner dependent on lead times for the PPE equipment).
